The Protector P0.5F is a compact, full-flow water treatment unit designed to protect heating systems by maintaining clean, stable system water without the use of chemicals.
Developed to meet VDI 2035 water quality standards, the P0.5F provides installers with a reliable, all-in-one solution for system cleaning, protection, and long-term water quality management.
Why Install the Protector P0.5F?
The P0.5F is supplied as a kit including filling and rinsing functionality. As with any heating system, overall performance and reliability are greatly dependant on good water quality.
Contamination, dissolved oxygen, and poor system chemistry can lead to corrosion, reduced efficiency, and unnecessary call-backs.

System Protection from 1000L - 5000L
The Protector P1-P5 provide a “hybrid/multipurpose function” that eliminates the use of chemicals, de-aerators, and magnetic separators. IWTM’s solution goes on to maintain and protect your closed loop networks and engineers an environment which is hostile to both corrosion and bacteria.
Protector P1-P5 each has two distinct separate treatment chambers, designed to remove system impurities and to engineer the water to keep it in a non-corrosive state.
The range has a compact wall fixing system; therefore the unit can be fixed on to the wall to save space in situations where space is important and limited. The P1-P5 range is sized for system volumes from 1000L up to 5000L.
Domestic and Light Commercial Fill and Clean
The IWTM Protector™ Prime filling and rinsing device when used with Prime pH resin makes sure your heating or cooling system is initially filled and prepared for use, to be compliant with IWTM and VDI 2035 guidelines.
Fill water can contain aggressive salts and minerals which in turn can cause uncontrolled pH and a high electrical conductivity both of which are major causes of corrosion. The Prime range is used for filling and rinsing systems to control these elements to clean, maintain and protect systems against corrosion and bacteria.
The Prime is a robust mobile filling and rinsing device, which prepares the system for ideal water quality levels. 2 sizes available. Based on either our 12.5 or 25 Litre Protector ProFill, the Prime removes the need for single use plastic which is used in many resin cartridge devices.
As well as looking after the environment it also reduces the demineralised filling cost per litre. The inlet and outlet conductivity meter can be read in uS/cm or TDS and the flow meter provides the flow rate and volumetric counter, with our eyebolt lid making the resin change quick and easy.
